Payment Regulations

The present regulations are edited in Italian and are in good faith exclusively from Italian text.
For clarifications it is advisable to contact the secretary.

Associative Member Fee - All participants of the association are required to pay a membership fee which is valid for a year from the time the application has been accepted by the association and must be payed with the application form, it is non refundable for any reason.

Application - All participants of the association are required to pay 30% of the invoiced amount which will be sent with confirmation of enrollment, in addition to the application form, two passport photos, a copy of your passport (or ID card) which is valid for entrance into Italy must be provided, otherwise your application will not be valid and therefore not processed.

Course Conditions - Payment for all courses must be received in full before the commencement of the course or by the first Tuesday following your arrival. For courses over a two month duration provision has been made to extend through agreement with the S.C. with a credit or financial institution with relative interest charges, financial and other relevant costs.

Course Cancellations - Annulment or cancellation of a course can be made effective 30 working days before the commencement of the course losing only the association membership fee. After this date until the predetermined date of arrival you lose on top of the membership fee 30% of the whole amount. After the commencement of the course no provision has been made for reimbursements of membership and/or services not utilized. Courses longer than 5 week duration are exempt: any variation interruption and/or vacation during the course must be expressed with at least 30 days notice . If the cancellation or eventual changes happen within these terms, a penalty fee will be charged which is 30% of the total amount of the expected costs or on the difference due to change over. If this occurs later than these terms, the total cost will be charged. The VivItalia fee does not allow the possibility for changes or refunds. In case of cancellation or variations because of extreme emergency the renouncer will receive a study cheque equal to the penalty paid with the exclusion of the membership fee which remains at the annual expiry date. The study cheques are to be benefited for a successive course within 24 months.

Accommodation Conditions - When a request for accommodation has been received by the our association assistant regarding available accommodation for a study holiday you must pay a deposit within 3 days after the accommodation is confirmed. If a deposit is not paid the accommodation request will be lost. The deposit is non refundable. For all accommodation it is required that the payment is made in full before the commencement of the course, at the maximum by the fist Tuesday following your arrival. For stays longer than two months there is a possible opportunity to extend this agreement in consultation with the C.P.

Accommodation variations - All variations, cancellations and eventual extensions must be communicated at least 30 days before the change and are subject to acception by both the S.C. and the C.P. If the cancellation or changes happen within these terms a penalty fee will be charged which is 30% of the total amount of the expected costs or on the difference due to change over. Eventual refunds are calculated four weeks after date of leaving the accommodation.

Bonds - The student who uses the following services is required to pay the relative bond which will be refunded at the completion of the service provided if the object has been returned in the same condition and in the time frame required. Accommodation keys from 5,00 to 10,00 Euro for each bunch, books from 15,00 to 25,00 Euro each, linen from 20,00 to 40,00 Euro for each set, bicycles from 60,00 to 200,00 Euro according to the model, mobile phones from 100,00 to 200,00 Euro, television or video recorders from 160,00 to 300,00 Euro, tape recorder/radio from 30,00 to 100,00 Euro, apartments from 150,00 to 500,00 Euro. The bonds are refunded during secretary office hours and at the time that the whole object is retuned.

Receipt of payment - All payments carried out in full must be certified according to the release of the original and signed receipts. Or via Posta: IBAN IT21C0760113900000033908419; Monte dei Paschi di Siena IBAN IT53B010301390000000 4744062; Euro-cheque; Vaglia Internazionale.
The payments must include bank or postal fees, which is required to be paid by the student.

Discounts - Completed applications accompanied with full payment and received at least 30 days prior to the commencement of the course are eligible for a discount.

Students requiring VISA - Students that request the release of documentation for a study visa must make a payment of at least 30% of the total cost before the release of the relative documents, the paid sum is not refundable in any case. For some countries it is necessary to pay more than the sum mentioned above. In case of ecess of the paid sum, normal regulations apply.

Responsibility - The secretary C.P. is responsible for final payments.
