Association Fee / Accomodation / Payment of services / Cancellation / Privacy

Association Fee: valid 12 months from the date of acceptance and is obligatory.

Accommodation: is available from the Sunday before the course begins till the Saturday 10 a.m. when the course ends. Those students who will be arriving or departing outside the above times are asked to inform us as much in advance as possible. The students who ask for a double room and arrive by themselves will be matched with other students who asked for the same accommodation or they will pay for a single room price. We reserve the right, during extraordinary situations, to change the type of accommodation asked for with an eventual variation in price. Flats are available as well and represent the most economical choice providing the greatest freedom for the student. This housing is not owned by the school or by travel agencies; our role is exclusively to introduce the student to the flat owners. During the periods when it is necessary to use heating, a deposit must be given to the flat owners. The flats do not have linen and towels. The students can bring their own linen or rent it from the school (the change of sheets is every fortnight, for the towels it is weekly). Triple rooms are also available on student's request. *Apartment prices do not include expenses for electricity. All accommodation is rented clean and tidy. At the end of the stay students will be charged for a cleaning service. On special request this can also be arranged during the student's stay.

Payment of services: All the reserved services must be paid at the office of the school by 1.00 p.m. on the Tuesday after the student's arrival. For courses, which last longer than 2 months the payment can be split according to the student needs and decided on the student's arrival.
Deposit: when the student begins using the services available, a deposit is required which will be returned when the services are over (naturally if the objects are not damaged). Keys (5,00 Euro each); books (15,00 Euro each); linen (20,00 Euro each set); bikes (from 60,00 to 200,00 Euro according to the type); mobiles (from 100,00 to 150,00 Euro); televisions or video-recorder (from 160,00 to 300,00 Euro); radios (from 30,00 to 100,00 Euro). Deposits will be returned when the school office is open and if the object is in proper condition.

Cancellation: cancellation of courses can be made up to 30 working days before the course starts losing only the membership payment. Any variation, interruption and /or holiday during the course should be communicated at least 30 days in advance. If the cancellation or possible variations occur later, there will be a penalty of 30% on the whole foreseen charge or on the difference owed from the alteration. The cost of VivItalia does not allow changes or refunds. In case of cancellation or variation due to unforseen circumstances, the student will receive a study voucher equal to deposit already paid, excluding the membership fee which expires within one year. The study voucher can be used for a subsequent course within a 24 month period.

Privacy: I allow use of my personal details as specified by the statute of Italiamo for educative or promotional purposes also on the internet.
I am aware that I can at any moment request correction, cancellation or the updating of my details.
I declare to have read and approved these rules and realise that they are binding.
